Downscaling from Full HD 1920×1080 to video for websites like 640×360
The first image is a screendump of a Full HD 1920×1080 video with subtitles.
Downscale video
The second image is a video with subtitles which has been downscaled from Full HD to 640×360 for a website. These subtitles are not really good.
It would have been better to make a new video in 640×360 and import a new set of subtitles with a resolution of 640×360. See image 3.
Downscaling from SD (1024×576) is fine though. As you can see it’s better to have two sets of subtitles: one for Full HD plus a set for a smaller resolution.
